As a single bloke passionate about travel and running, I found myself at Room during a family getaway, and it turned out quite well. The spacious 12-bed dorm had sturdy bunks complete with privacy curtains-perfect for our late-afternoon siestas after days of exploration. We kicked off each day with leisurely runs along the stunning coastal tracks of San Sebastián, discovering hidden gems, which was an added bonus for this marathon enthusiast. Back at the property, my family enjoyed their afternoon reading sessions in the cozy common room while I prepared light meals in the basic kitchen-equipped with a fridge and microwave. The hotel hosts daily activities, like pintxos tours and cooking classes, which the kids enjoyed. They met new friends and loved learning to whip up local delicacies. With clean rooms, friendly staff, and activities that cater to both adults and kids, Room offers a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for families. Plus, the location's convenience makes it easy to explore the region and enjoy the beach. It felt more like a hotel than a typical hostel, which was refreshing for our relaxing family trip.
